Hydroxyapatite has become the dominant active ingredient across clean-beauty oral care. We evaluated whether to add it to a reformulated PrimalDent — including a Japanese eggshell-derived supplier — and decided not to. This paper documents why: a mechanistic argument for upstream prevention over downstream remediation, with citations.
